Grain upon grain, Stalk upon stalk, Gentle to the harsh, I bend to your will. Do not be deceived, Brittle I may seem, but I might not break. From the granular to the grand, You seek to conquer. Your ego blinding you To the truth. What you think you own Was never yours to seek. And while you ravage what you touch I still blossom, for I will not break. Your shadows may Darken my path, But unbeknownst to you I flow to the light Where the eyes need not be. The force courses through me Charging the power within, And I come to know, I can not break. Grounded in my place, I wither through the ages. With pride, love, affection, I defy your elements, To create the perfect Musical symphony.
